About Me…

Hi, my name is Emily and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, living and working in Llandrillo near Corwen, at the Ceidiog Counselling Practice; offering therapy based on the needs of you, the client, as a whole.

My practice and way of working is designed to provide a safe and comfortable space, providing a way for you to explore your feelings and emotions around what is most important to you, in an honest, non-judgmental and confidential manner. As a client once said ‘life can be lumpy, but having somewhere safe to bring it helps’.

Alongside general wellbeing and mental health counselling, the main body of my practice focuses on working with clients to process some of the most difficult moments in their lives, from one off traumatic events to dealing with chronic historical abuse and trauma.

My work here at the Ceidiog Counselling Practice is based in a purpose built, wheelchair friendly, restful and dedicated therapy room at the Capel Hermon Business Centre, situated on the border between Denbighshire and Gwynedd.

My background and current organisational work includes working with adults 18yrs and above within the NHS as a sessional counsellor, alongside working for and registered with 3rd party charities/wellness companies inclusive of The DPJ Foundation & Everwell.
